ABOUT
RainCoast Arboriculture is a locally owned, multifaceted full service tree company. We are a relatively new innovative company that has already made a large impact through other local arborists, businesses, and residents of the area. We are a smaller company that employs up to three employees seasonally, and are equipped with a truck, chipper, and all of the necessary trades’ tools to complete projects of any scope. RainCoast provides everything from the most technically challenging climbing removals to tree surgery and ornamental pruning. We are based out of Terrace, but we service outlying areas from Prince Rupert to Smithers, British Columbia.
Mike Plunkard
Owner/Arborist
Michael Plunkard, president of the company has worked within the arboriculture industry for 16 years. As an arborist, he has achieved virtually all the recommended and required certifications in British Columbia in addition to his bachelor’s degree in Forestry. RainCoast Arboriculture ensures that the training, education, experience and ambition will pave the way for the company to be a leader in the Pacific Northwest.
Terrace, British Columbia
Terrace is located in the Skeena Valley, nessled in the Coast Mountains in north west British Columbia. Terrace is positioned in a rainforest and is home to an abudance of enormous trees and a large variety of ornamental species.
